Inquiry Learning term 3

My Inquiry has been learning about our New Brighton ecologies!

We went to the beach for a field trip and learnt about the sand dunes and what lives in them. We also went to Travis Wetlands to learn about  the native birds and the animals in the water!

Facts: 

  • Christchurch was 90%  wetlands but now its  2%
  • their are more than 2,000 species of animals in the wetlands

    Hi Anika,
    it was awesome learning about Christchurch's wildlife with this blog post.
    I can't believe that Christchurch is only %2 wetlands now!
    Maybe next time you could add a bit more info, like why %88 of wetlands are gone nowadays.
    Otherwise, keep up the good work!
